One of our goals for 2019 was to finally start consistently blogging. We have so much work that we want to share with everyone and blogs are the perfect way to tell a Bride and Grooms story through images. So we decided to start with some of our favourite 2017 weddings and hopefully get ourselves caught up before the start of this wedding season.
Alycia and James's wedding was one we were really excited to capture after a magical vineyard/beach engagement session with them the summer prior. We had never photographed a wedding at the Legends on the Niagara golf club, it was such a beautiful venue and we love working new at new locations.. However it was one of those days where the weather couldn't make up it's mind, It was sunny one minute and raining the next. But luckily, it always seemed to clear up at just the right time and we were able to shoot outside the whole day.
While we were inside for dinner and and speeches a thunderstorm rolled through. But as it passed and the clouds broke, we were blessed with one of the most dramatic sunsets we have ever seen and of course we grabbed our lighting and got to work. They are still some of our favourite sunset images.
